Essiac Tea Dosage for Pets

Those of us who have pets (and there are many), consider these creatures not only pets but members of our families. It is understandable that when they are not in good health we are desperate for answers to resolve their health problems. Like most pet owners though we are also working with limited funds for any solutions. Most veterinarians’ solutions are extremely hard on our bank accounts. When push comes to shove though we pay whatever the cost. The idea of losing our pet, our friend, is too disturbing. Unless of course you are one of those few who purchase some form of health insurance on your pet you are at a loss as what to do. Fortunately for you and your pet and your bank account there is an alternative health plan. We like to call it the Essiac Tea alternative health plan. Once you even feel something may be wrong with your pet you of course take it to the vets. No way are we telling you not to do this. What we are saying though, is that because of Essiac’s immune rebuilding properties you may only need to put your pet on Essiac to start seeing his health return to normal. A lot of what gets our immune systems weak and vulnerable to disease also affects our pets. Therefore what can heal us may also heal our pets. The digestive system is shorter on pets and therefore the dosage will be smaller. The most common ways to administer the tea is through an eye dropper, syringe, or a turkey baister.

OUR DOSAGE RECOMMENDATIONS OF ESSIAC TEA FOR PETS

The following are our suggested doses of Essiac for pets. We recommend that you use your own discreation as to what dosage works best for your pet.

Pets weighing up to 15 lbs: Try ½ oz. dose of tea per day. If pet responds well to that dosage, try ½ oz. of tea twice per day.

Pets weighing 15-35 lbs: Try ½ oz. dose of tea twice per day. If pet responds well to that dosage, try 1 oz. of tea twice per day.

Pets weighing 35-55 lbs: Try 1 oz. dose of tea twice per day. If pet responds well to that dosage, try 2 oz. of tea per day.

Pets weighing 55-85lbs: Try 2 oz. dose of tea twice per day. If pet Responds well to that dosage, try 3 oz of tea twice per day.

Pets weighing 85 lbs or more; Try 3 oz dose of tea twice per day. If pet responds well to that dosage, try 3 oz. of tea 3 timers per day.

Remember that these dosages are all suggested. Rhubarb which is in our tea is a natural laxative. This may cause diarrhea for your pet. The amount that works best for your pet will in fact take some trial and error.
